[Prologue Unit 4] All About Jimmy - Preparation
The next intro I will be working on is for an interview with Jimmy Vee, called 'All About Jimmy' on the running order. Jimmy Vee has played roles almost exclusively in heavy prosthetics or costumes, most of his portfolio made up of playing various monsters in Doctor Who - the most recent being the Skovox Blitzer seen in series 8 of the show. I will likely put focus on this particular monster. As I am likely to find more footage of this than any of his other characters - plus I remember watching the episode which featured this monster when it aired, and I thought it was one of the coolest Doctor Who designs I'd seen. Even better than it was entirely practical effects.

Other monsters in Doctor Who he has played include various young Slitheen, the Moxx of Balhoon and the Grask.

At the time of writing I can't find any footage of his roles outside of Doctor Who as they are very minor.
Despite most (if not all) of the footage that will be used being from Doctor Who, I won't use a song from that shows soundtrack, as there are already two other Doctor Who focussed shows which will be using songs from that soundtrack. I've instead gathered a few songs which I think would be more fitting, one of with will be used in the final video.

Descent Into Cerberon - Sonic Mayhem [Quake II Soundtrack].
Something that I want to give to the intro is a sense of fun but also 'epicness' which I think this song includes somewhat. It also has a tune that I think would be fun to edit to, which is a fairly important factor into the result of the video - I think its possible to tell if the editor is enjoying what they're doing just by how creative they're being with the tools at their disposal.
Try This - Pegboard Nerds.
This is a very upbeat song, as is a musical style that is really entertaining to edit to because is skips around so often. I actually used this song for my A2 Art proposal video, and would like to use it again. My only slight concern is that when Area51 were discussing songs to use for a dance routine which would be featured in the opening ceremony of 2016's SFW, I suggested this song and they loved it - ending up using it. Now, if they use it again this year, I don't want to use the same song, as I think each show should have a unique feel to it.
The Destroyer of All things - Blue Stahli.
This song very much has an epic battle scene feel to it, like a space or sky battle between thousands of warships. That description may sound a bit to epic for this show, but I like that. There isn't really a sense of 'fun' to it, so that is something I would have to implement via the clips and editing style.
